BYD unveils SEAL, Atto 3 model prices in Pakistan

LAHORE: Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer BYD Auto has launched its two models — the BYD Seal and BYD Atto 3 — in Pakistan. The Chinese automobile giant unveiled the prices of both models at the Pakistan Auto Parts Show (PAPS) 2024 in Lahore.

According to PakWheels, an automobile website, the BYD Seal’s Dynamic variant is priced at an ex-showroom price of Rs14,790,000, while its Premium variant is priced at Rs 16,990,000.  The BYD Atto 3 Advance model goes for Rs 8,990,000.

The BYD Seals, an automatic and electric vehicle has a battery capacity of 61-82 kWh and offers a range of 510-650 km.

It features a Blade Battery, enabling the four-wheel drive version to accelerate from 0-100km/h in 5.9 seconds. It supports BYD SEAL to charge from 30% to 80% within 30 minutes.

The car comes with seven airbags, tyre repair kit, Climate control, Predictive Collision Warning, Driver Attention Warning, and Traffic Sign Recognition.

Meanwhile, the BYD Atto 3 has a battery capacity of 49.92 kWh and offers a range of 410 km, with an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds. It is also equipped with a Blade Battery, supporting BYD Atto 3 to charge from 30% to 80% within 30 minutes.

On August 17 this year, BYD officially entered the Pakistani market with a launch event at Lahore’s Expo Centre where it showcased its long-term vision for Pakistan and commitment to leading the automotive revolution towards sustainable mobility.

Three models BYD Sealion 6, BYD Seal, and BYD Atto 3—were unveiled during the event.

The launch event was attended by Federal Minister for Finance Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, who welcomed BYD’s arrival as a milestone in Pakistan’s journey towards sustainability.
