CDA, PITB sign agreement for digitization of official record

ISLAMABAD The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and the Capital Development Authority (CDA) signed a deal on Friday to digitize all official operations of the authority, marking a significant step towards modernizing administrative processes.

As part of the deal, a cutting-edge property management system will be put in place with the goal of digitizing citizen property records. An e-office will be developed as part of the program in accordance with the Capital Development Authority and PITB’s participation.

The goal of the digitalization project, according to a CDA official, is to guarantee openness in property-related data by removing problems such record tampering, loss, or unauthorized access. Modern land and property records will offer a safe and effective way to maintain records.

Additionally, the program aims to advance the idea of “smart governance” by giving the Capital Development Authority more authority through the use of contemporary tools and technologies. Using the most recent technologies, CDA hopes to improve its decision-making operations and provide applicants and citizens with accelerated services for transfers, allotments, and other activities.

The project’s main goal, according to the source, is to empower Islamabad’s populace through the adoption of “smart applications.” Using a single click and their unique ID and password, citizens will have access to their land and property information through a unified system.
