KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan recorded a decline of Rs 1,700 per tola on Thursday, after rising in the last three sessions, reaching an all-time high.
According to Sarafa Association, the price of gold in Pakistan closed at Rs 250,200 per tola after a decrease of Rs 1,700. The price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs 1458 to Rs 214506.
Gold also lost its luster in the international market, falling $17 to close at $2,395 an ounce. On April 17, gold rates in Pakistan hit another high on Wednesday amid unrest in the Middle East.

Data shared by Sarafa Association showed that 24-karat gold prices rose by Rs 2,200 per tola and Rs 1,887 per 10 grams to Rs 251,900 and Rs 215,964 respectively. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22 carat gold also saw an increase of Rs 197,967.
