KARACHI: Following a Rs300 decline on Thursday, August 15, gold prices in Pakistan rebounded on Friday. The price of 24-karat gold now stands at Rs257,700 per tola, marking a Rs300 increase. Today’s gold prices are set at Rs2,000 below the market rate.
According to the Karachi Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams has risen by Rs256 to Rs220,936, while 22-karat gold is priced at Rs202,525 per 10 grams.
Moreover, silver prices also increased domestically, with 24-karat silver trading at Rs2,900 per tola, up by Rs50, and Rs2,486 per 10 grams, an increase of Rs43.
On the international market, spot gold was trading at approximately $2,464 per ounce, reflecting a $6.40 or 0.26 percent rise from the previous session.
