KARACHI: On Saturday, the price of gold in Pakistan’s local market recorded a further decline amid a decline in global prices.
According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola closed at Rs300,000 with a decrease of Rs500.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams in the local market fell by Rs439 to Rs257,201.
Bullion prices also fell in the international market, where the price of the yellow commodity fell by $6 to $2,857.
Meanwhile, silver prices also fell in the local market, where it closed at Rs3,240 after a decrease of Rs10 per tola, while the price of 10 grams closed at Rs2,777.
A day earlier, the price of gold per tola had decreased by Rs2,500, taking the price to Rs300,500 per tola.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has decreased by Rs 2143 to Rs 257639.
