ISLAMABAD: Gold prices have declined in both global and local markets, providing some relief to buyers. The price of gold per ounce in the international bullion market fell by $11 to $2,910.
Gold prices also saw a decline locally. On Saturday, the price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs1,000 to Rs306,000 per tola. Similarly, the price of gold per 10 grams fell by Rs858 to Rs262,345 per 10 grams.
Silver prices also saw a decline, with the price of silver per tola falling by Rs12 to Rs3,388. The price of silver per 10 grams fell by Rs10 to Rs2,904 per 10 grams.
Despite this recent decline, gold prices had seen an increase only a day earlier, reflecting the volatile nature of the market. These fluctuations are influenced by global economic conditions as well as supply and demand conditions in local markets.
