ISLAMABAD: Gold prices in Pakistan’s domestic market fell for the third consecutive day on Thursday, following a downward trend internationally.
According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola fell by Rs 3,300 to Rs 303,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 2,829 to Rs 259,773.
A day earlier, the price of gold per tola closed at Rs 306,300 after falling by Rs 2,400, while the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs 2,058 to Rs 262,602.
Globally, gold prices have eased as investors await inflation data, which will be released later this week. They are also keeping a close eye on developments related to US President Donald Trump’s tariff plans.
Earlier this month, the yellow metal recorded a massive surge that reached an all-time high as investors poured their money into the commodity after Trump’s tariff plans created uncertainty in international markets.
