KARACHI: Gold became expensive in Pakistan’s local market on Saturday due to the increase in global prices.
According to data shared by the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs 400 to Rs 292,200.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 343 to Rs 250,514.
In the international market, bullion rates also reached a fresh high, where the per ounce rate increased by $ 5 to close at $ 2,797.
A day earlier, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs 1,600 to Rs 290,300, while the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs 1,372 to Rs 248,885.
