KARACHI: Gold and silver prices registered another increase in both local and international bullion markets on Monday, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Jewelers Association.
The association said the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,000, pushing the new rate to Rs492,362.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs858 to reach Rs422,121, while 10 grams of 22-karat gold increased by Rs787, taking the price to Rs386,958.
Silver prices also witnessed an upward trend in the local market. The price of 24-karat silver per tola increased by Rs 65 to Rs 9,204, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs 55 to Rs 7,890.
In the international market, gold prices climbed by $10 per ounce to settle at $4,700.
Meanwhile, global silver prices also increased by $0.65, with the new rate reaching $87.20 per ounce.
