PESHAWAR: The price of bread in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has increased by Rs 5 to Rs 20 after the provincial government reduced the prices.
Deputy Commissioner Peshawar has also issued a notification fixing the price of 125 grams of bread at Rs 20. Earlier, the price of 120 grams of bread was fixed at Rs 15.
The district administration says that the revision of bread prices has been done in the light of the committee’s recommendations.
Meanwhile, bread prices remained unchanged in Punjab at Rs 14 while wheat flour prices remained stable.
