All educational institutions to remain closed on April 26

RAWALPINDI: In solidarity with the Palestinian people, the Rawalpindi-based All Pakistan Private Schools Association declared its support for a statewide strike on Saturday.

According to a statement issued by the All Pakistan Private Schools Association, all of Rawalpindi’s private schools will be closed on Saturday, April 26, 2025.

According to Abrar Khan, head of the association, the strike is intended to demonstrate solidarity with Palestine.

Additioanlly, On the eve of World Labor Day, the Sindh government has proclaimed May 1 a public holiday. The notice states that on May 1, all offices and educational facilities in the province would be closed.
