ISLAMABAD: The Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) was held on Sunday nationwide under the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) supervision.
Over 167,777 candidates took the entry test for more than 18,000 seats across Pakistan. A total of 58,379 candidates, including 40,363 females and 18,016 males, participated in MDCAT across 26 centers in 12 major cities of Punjab, including Lahore.
In Sindh, 38,700 candidates entered the admission test in six examination centers. 12,846 candidates in Karachi participated in the MDCAT held under the supervision of Dow University of Health Sciences.
As per reports, the results for the MDCAT 2024 are expected to be announced on September 28 (Saturday). However, there is no official announcement about the final date for the results declaration.
Universities will announce the final date of MDCAT 2024 results in the next few days.
The admission process will commence after the declaration of final results by the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC).
