LAHORE: The School Education Department of Punjab has made up its mind to suspend all the heads of government schools, who were appointed temporarily without clearing a formal test during the vacation period.

Major points of the decision are that all those who are holding posts as school heads without clearing the mandatory test will be removed from their posts.

Six examination centers will be opened in every district to conduct the mandatory tests. The Department of School Education has sought information from all the district education authorities to establish these exam centers.

These centers should have basic facilities like electricity, internet connectivity, and CCTV cameras. Apart from that, each exam center should also have seating arrangements for a minimum of 40 candidates.

All the district education authorities have been asked to provide the necessary information to the DPI (Secondary) Punjab by July 4, 2025.
