LAHORE: The Punjab provincial government has announced strict action against school principals found guilty of forgery in student enrollment.
Punjab Education Minister Rana Sikandar Hayat has stressed that 100 percent accurate enrollment data is mandatory in all schools. He warned that fake enrollment will not be tolerated under any circumstances, adding that inspections of schools will begin immediately after the summer vacations.
He added that any school head found involved in false enrollment records will face departmental disciplinary action.
The move is aimed at stopping manipulation of enrollment data and ensuring transparency and accountability in the education sector..
