What will be the School timings in Punjab from February 1?

LAHORE: According to the provincial education department, all Punjabi schools will return to regular schedules on February 1st, 2024, with the winter session ending on January 31st.

All public and private schools will be open from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm on weekdays and from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm on Fridays until January 31 in accordance with government regulations. The interim government of Punjab announced on January 8 the winter schedule adjustments for all state-run and private schools in the province.

Authorities have announced that starting on February 1, schools will operate on regular schedules. “In keeping with this department’s announcement of even No. dated 08.01.2024, all public and private schools in the province are officially advised that their current schedules will be observed through January 31, 2024.

The letter stated that the schools would reopen on January 02, 2024, at their normal times. “Heads/Principals of Public and Private Schools and All Chief Executive Officers (DEA) in Punjab are directed to ensure compliance in letter and spirit,” the statement continued.
