ISLAMABAD: Although Pakistan and India are two neighbouring countries with somewhat similar cultural values and origins but their relationship has always been complex and complicated.
Whether it’s due to geographical locations, religions, or now even sports, Pakistan and India have always played as enemies; however, it’s difficult for Pakistan to overlook the Indian Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi as the surprising driving force behind some of Pakistan’s advancements, as it considers its journey over the last 20 years.
In spite of his government’s attempts to weaken Pakistan, the Indian Prime Minister’s policies have frequently strengthened the country. So, on the 75th Birthday of Indian PM Modi, Pakistan would like to thank him for making Pakistan stronger than ever.
Modi’s tenure has revealed India’s secular image, which Pakistan had long contested. The truth was revealed by the Gujarat riots in 2002 and later events, such as the 2025 elections in Bihar, which are now acknowledged by Western media.
Modi’s policies have unintentionally strengthened the reasoning behind the formation of Pakistan. The caste system and minority rights issues in India have demonstrated that the Two-Nation Theory is a reality that is reflected in the country’s headlines and is not merely a historical anecdote.
The fate of Kashmir was exposed when Article 370 was repealed, which marked a sea change and exposed India’s real objectives in the region. Kashmiris have been inspired by this action, which makes it apparent that India will not decide their destiny peacefully.
Pakistan’s hospitality was demonstrated to the world in 2019 when it treated an Indian pilot with respect and dignity, served him tea, and made sure he returned safely. This deed of kindness contrasted sharply with the violence displayed.
Indian PM Modi has given Pakistan countless reasons to prove its Army’s superiority over the Indian Army by sending its pilot Abhinandan back in 2019. Pakistan Army treated him as a guest, even offered him ”Tea” on which he even remarked that the cup of tea was ”Fantastic”.
Now, when we look at 2025, the Indian PM gave Pakistan one of the biggest chances to showcase their Air Talent during the Operation Bunyanun Marsoos
Under Modi’s leadership, the differences between the governance models of India and Pakistan have become more noticeable. India’s government has come under fire for how it has handled dissent and minority rights, while Pakistan has made progress toward democratic governance. Pakistan’s stability and potential may be reassessed as a result of this disparity, both at home and abroad.
Although Modi’s economic policies are intended to accelerate India’s growth, they have also given Pakistan new opportunities. Pakistan’s strategic location and resources could become more appealing as India looks to diversify its trade and investment relationships, which could result in more economic cooperation.
Under Modi, the international community’s opinion of India has changed, with some doubting the nation’s dedication to democracy and secularism. A more nuanced understanding of Pakistan’s own difficulties and advantages could result from this change in perspective, which could improve the climate for Pakistan’s diplomatic initiatives.
In conclusion, even though Modi’s policies weren’t intended to help Pakistan, they have had unforeseen repercussions that have improved Pakistan’s standing in many crucial areas.
It is unclear how these developments will affect the future of the region as the intricate dynamics between India and Pakistan continue to change.
