11 injured and 7 dead in a series of accidents

LAHORE: On Friday morning, fog and speeding caused three separate accidents that resulted in seven fatalities and eleven injuries.

A passenger van struck a tractor-trolley that was parked on the side of the road, resulting in a terrible event that claimed the lives of two ladies and injured five more.

The tragedy happened in Pool Nagar, a city in the Kasur District of the Punjab province, when a tractor trolly and a passenger van that was traveling from Pattoki city to Lahore collided.

According to rescue sources, the incident claimed the lives of two ladies and injured five others. The injured were sent to the closest hospital for treatment.

According to the available information, the unfortunate group of five passengers was traveling from Multan to Kot Sultan, Layyah when the fatal tragedy occurred.

The rescue authorities have moved the deceased’s bodies to the hospital.

In a different accident close to Chinot, early on Friday morning fog caused a tractor-trolley from Faisalabad to collide with a passenger van from Chinot on the Faisalabad Chinot road, injuring six persons.
