CM Punjab Maryam meets finance minister Aurangzeb, discusses economic situation

LAHORE: Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif called on Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb in Lahore today (Monday). During the meeting, both discussed the country’s economic situation and issues of mutual interest.

Finance Czar Muhammad Aurangzeb congratulated Maryam Nawaz on assuming the office of the Chief Minister of Punjab. CM Maryam said that together we will remove Pakistan from economic problems.

Likewise, Maryam Nawaz congratulated Minister Aurangzeb on taking charge of the Finance Ministry. Maryam stated the Federal and Provincial Governments will do their best to provide relief to the masses and improve the country’s economy.

Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb praised Maryam’s people-friendly social welfare programs, stating that her becoming the country’s first Chief Minister is a great milestone. Provincial Finance Minister Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rahman, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, and Former Senator Pervez Rasheed were also present during the meeting.
