COAS Asim Munir hosts Iftar dinner for Pakistan Cricket Team

RAWALPINDI: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Syed Asim Munir, hosted an Iftar Dinner for the Pakistan Cricket Team at Army House Rawalpindi on Tuesday.

Inter-Services Public Relations released a press release stating that COAS spoke with the players and wished them luck in their future endeavors.

The cricketers expressed their gratitude to COAS for the excellent training they received at Kakul and acknowledged the supportive role played by the Army in promoting sports in Pakistan.

Mohsin Naqvi, the chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), was present at the Iftar with PCB representatives.

Pakistan cricket team underwent and concluded physical training at the Army School of Physical Training (ASPT) camp in Kakul, Abbottabad ahead of the T20 home series against New Zealand starting later this month.
