Huge corruption scandal in PTV exposed

Former Caretaker Information Minister Murtaza Solangi and Managing Director Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) Mubashar Tauqir’s horrifying story of looting and corruption in PTV was exposed.

According to the documents available with Daily Ausaf and ABN News, the ex-caretaker information minister Murtaza Solangi during his time did illegal recruitments in PTV on heavy stipends. According to the sources, a junior officer was given the charge of three departments.

Chaudhry Saleem was given four posts as GMPTV, News Controller Current Affairs, and Director Current Affairs so that it would be easy for Murtaza Solangi and MD Mubashar Tauqir to loot.

During the election, the bill for food for only two days costs Rs48 lakh. As per the available document, Rs1 crore for transport, and Rs1 crore for boarding and lodging expenses were spent.

According to PTV sources, Murtaza Solangi hired his two friends Amir Ghori and Fauzia Yazdani to anchor the election transmission, who were given crores of rupees. Public tax money was looted openly while four people were hired on 750000 four months ago.

According to the PTV sources, the former information minister appointed a small-rank officer Shafqat Abbas Malik as GM Multan against merit.

According to the document available, Amir Shafi Ghouri and Fauzia Yazdani Butt, who have links with the private sector, were given checks by Murtaza Solangi in his way before his tenure ended.

This is the first time in PTV’s 60-year history that a post-dated cheque has been issued to any TALENT. Along with Murtaza Solangi MD PTV Mubashar Tauqir is also involved in this huge scandal.

According to the sources, Murtaza Solangi and Mubashir Tauqeer stopped the broadcast of PTV Global on the very election day, due to which Pakistan was defamed all over the world. Which is part of the anti-state conspiracy.

According to the sources, the caretaker government is not allowed to post any kind of posts, however, the caretaker information minister created a history of corruption in the Ministry of Information by violations of the law and the constitution to reward his favorite people. The officers washed their hands in the ganga of cross corruption.
