Tehran/Washington: Iran and American TV have said that the US-Iran talks will be held in Islamabad on April 10.
The Iranian Supreme Security Council has said that ten points have been sent to the US through Pakistan, and the talks will be held in Islamabad, which will discuss a final ceasefire.
The American TV CNN has also reported that the Trump administration is preparing to hold talks with Iranian officials in Islamabad, and JD Vance, Jared Kushner, and Steve Witkoff may represent the US in the talks.
According to the report, Vice President JD Vance is in Hungary, but his visit may be limited due to the Islamabad meeting. Pakistani negotiators will also participate in the US-Iran talks.
Meanwhile, the Iranian Supreme Security Council has described the current ceasefire as its success and said that the negotiation points include the condition of lifting sanctions, and the restoration of frozen Iranian assets abroad is also included in these points.
The announcement made by the US is being presented as a major victory for Iran, which has refused to back down from the demands set out in its 10-point plan despite unprecedented threats from the Trump administration.
