May 9 case: PTI’s Mian Aslam Iqbal gets bail from PHC

PTI’s Punjab Chief Minister nominee Mian Aslam Iqbal granted transit bail from the Peshawar High Court (PHC) in the cases related to May 9 on Wednesday.

Earlier today, PTI leader Mian Aslam Iqbal’s lawyer requested the Peshawar High Court to hear the petition today and grant transit bail. The plea stated that the plaintiff was booked in 19 different cases.

PTI candidate for CM Punjab Aslam Iqbal’s lawyer says that after obtaining bail, he will appear in the relevant courts.

Earlier last week, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan after the approval of PTI founder Imran Khan announced Mian Aslam Iqbal as the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf candidate for the Chief Minister Punjab slot.

Earlier, The anti-terrorism court (ATC) declared 11 PTI leaders including Mian Aslam Iqbal absconders in a May 9 case related to setting containers on fire at Kalma Chowk in Lahore.
