The Peshawar High Court (PHC) granted extensive bail to the PTI candidate for the position of chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Ali Amin Gandapur until March 19 in multiple cases on Tuesday.
PHC instructed police to not arrest Gandapur in any ongoing investigations. Justices Waqar Ahmed and Ishtiaq Ibrahim presided over the petitions related to the cases against Ali Amin Gandapur.
The court issued a verdict to law enforcement agencies during the proceedings to refrain from arresting Gandapur in any of the cases.

PTI leader’s lawyer expressed concerns regarding the possibility that Gandapur would be arrested as a result of his nomination as chief minister. In particular, he cited reports of Punjab police allegedly being present in the area.
Justice Ishtiaq expressed doubt regarding the viability of Punjab police jurisdiction in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and underscored the importance of obtaining clarity regarding these issues.
Furthermore, the court ordered relevant authorities and the government to respond at the subsequent hearing, postponing the proceedings until March 19.
In granting bail to Ali Amin Gandapur until the specified date, the court-mandated the provision of exhaustive information regarding the pending cases against him.
