Sindh Police to Announce 26,000+ Jobs Soon; Check details

Details indicate that 26,800 new officers would shortly be hired by the provincial police via the independent Sindh Testing Service. An agreement has also been reached in this regard between the Sukkur Institute of Business Administration (IBA) and the Sindh Police.

12,500 recruitments will be made in the first phase, which will take place in six regions. In the second phase, 3,522 more posts will be filled in specialized units.

Additionally, 1,531 people will be hired for the Rapid Response Force (RRF) unit and 1,991 people for the Crowd Management Unit (CMU). Additionally, the provincial police plan to hire drivers. In unrelated news, Sindh police officers have been charged with stealing from civilians. Days after a trader’s home was purportedly broken into by a police party, a resident claimed that a police team had stolen Rs118 million from him inside the Sachal police station.

The person filed a complaint alleging that within the boundaries of the Sachal police station, a patrol squad stopped and searched his car close to the Lyari Expressway exit at Sohrab Goth.

He continued by saying that the police team stole Rs. 118 million from the car and fled after holding the occupants captive. After being aware of the event, Sindh Inspector General Rafat Mukhtar Raja instructed East Zone Directorate General Azfar Mahesar to look into it.
