A local media site has reported that there could be a delay in Sindh’s new academic year’s start date because textbook printing hasn’t started yet.
The Sindh Education Department’s Steering Committee has called a meeting to discuss the problem with textbook printing, according to a notification. According to sources, it is expected that the plan to begin the academic year in August will be approved at the meeting.
Sources claim that a disagreement between the Publisher and the Education Department is the reason for the textbook publishing delay. According to the Sindh Education Department, the printing and distribution of the essential books will take at least four months.
