LAHORE: Azaan Aswad Haroon, a rising actor, has accused actress Nazish Jahangir of extortion and deception. They initially met while working on a telefilm, becoming friends, but Haroon claims that the actress pretended to introduce him to the showbiz industry while extorting money.

She allegedly demanded Rs 15 lakh, expensive gifts, and a Honda car worth Rs 55 lakh. Haroon also claims Jahangir asked for air tickets to various destinations.

“Nazish Jahangir used to ask me for air tickets—sometimes to Dubai, sometimes to London, and sometimes to Lahore and Karachi—and I kept giving her everything, trusting her blindly,” Azaan added.

After realizing he was deceived, Haroon demanded his money back. However, Jahangir allegedly had him taken hostage and tortured at a farmhouse. Haroon’s managers and driver rescued him, leading to a fraud case against Jahangir at the Defense C police station.

“At which point she called me to a farmhouse, where several armed men took me hostage and subjected me to torture. I was rescued from the farmhouse by my managers and driver, after which I registered a fraud case against Nazish Jahangir at the Defense C police station, in which the money and vehicle were also mentioned,” The actor stated.

Recently, a Lahore Sessions Court canceled Jahangir’s bail due to non-appearance in court. Despite these allegations and legal developments, Jahangir has not publicly commented.
