Pakistan Stock Market Rally after Trump Iran War Exit Statement created strong momentum in financial markets on Wednesday.

After a statement by Donald Trump about stepping back from the Iran war, investors showed confidence. This led to a sharp rise in the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The KSE-100 index jumped by 7,461.58 points during trading. It reached 156,204.89 points, showing strong buying activity.

Earlier in the session, the index also gained around 4,944 points. It crossed multiple levels and was seen near 153,687 points. A day before, the market had closed at 148,743 points.

Due to heavy activity, trading at the Pakistan Stock Exchange was temporarily halted for one hour.

The Pakistan Stock Market Rally after Trump Iran War Exit Statement was not limited to Pakistan. Global markets also reacted positively.

In the United States, the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 2.49 percent higher in the previous session.

Asian markets also recorded major gains. Japan’s Nikkei 225 surged by 9 percent. Other markets including Hang Seng and Nifty Fifty also showed a positive trend.

Analysts say easing geopolitical tensions helped improve investor sentiment across global markets.
