RAWALPINDI: At least 12 Khwarji terrorists were killed after intense fire exchange with security forces troops in Khyber district’s Tirah Valley on August 28 and 29, the military media wing said in a statement.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces are conducting extensive intelligence-based operations (IBOs) in Tirah Valley, on the reported presence of Khwarij of Fitna-Al-Khwarij.
ISPR further said that these operations have resulted in major setbacks to Fitna-Al-Khwarij and its affiliates, and so far, 37 terrorists have been sent to hell, while 14 terrorists have suffered serious injuries.
“The IBOs will continue till peace in the area is restored and khawrij are eliminated, as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country,” the statement added.
