BUREWALA: In a shocking incident, A 12-year-old child named Muhammad Zaki was brutally murdered by a man named Tariq Dogar for taking a bath in a tube well in a tragic incident near Burewala.

On Sunday between 10 and 11 a.m., Zaki, who was also learning the Quran by heart, had gone to the tube with his friends to bathe in the tube well to get relief from the scoring heat in the area.

The horrific incident happened at the time when he was sitting close to the water tank while the other kids were taking a bath. The suspect, upon observing the view, in a fit of rage, opened direct fire from a distance which went through Zaki’s hand and struck both his legs.

Initially, the children thought that it was a Firecracker, but soon they realised that Zaki ha fallen on the ground which raised their concerns, and they rished towards Zaki.

Upon realising that Zaki is taking his last breaths, the suspect put Zaki in his vehicle and tried to escape with it, but the children had already raised an alarm in the neighborhood, due to which the suspect gave Zaki’s body to his son and fled the scene.

The suspect’s son rushed Zaki to the hospital but doctors confirmed that he had already passed away, leaving the suspect’s son feeling from the scene.

To attend his son’s funeral, Zaki’s father, Arsalan Butt, 33, who works in Saudi Arabia, traveled back to Pakistan.

“The culprit must be given strict punishment, as he has committed similar acts twice in the past,” the victim’s father said in his desire for justice.

He asserted that the accused’s kid was recently involved in a shooting incident and is presently receiving treatment in a hospital, while the accused’s brother is already serving a prison sentence in another murder case.

The local community is outraged by the act, and Zaki’s family and neighbors are calling for justice and the accountability of the offender.
