43 terrorists neutralized in Balochistan & KP operations: ISPR

RAWALPINDI: At least 43 terrorists have been killed by security forces during extensive Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan, dealing a major blow to Fitna-ul-Khawarij and other terrorist groups operating in Balochistan.

The ISPR said that security forces have killed 43 terrorists during extensive Intelligence Based Operations (IBOs) conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Balochistan since December 9, dealing a major blow to Fitna-ul-Khawarij and other terrorist groups operating in the region.

According to the army’s media wing, on the intervening night of December 12-13, security forces conducted an IBO operation in Lakki Marwat district, where they effectively targeted terrorists in the area, resulting in the killing of 6 militants. A total of 18 militants have been eliminated in KP since December 9.

In Balochistan, on December 13, security forces neutralized 10 terrorists in two separate IBOs conducted in Musakhel and Panjgur districts after a fierce exchange of fire. Since December 9, 25 terrorists have been killed in Balochistan.

The ISPR said that these operations will continue until peace is restored and all militants are eliminated, as Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate terrorism from the country.
