ISLAMABAD: The government of Pakistan has reappointed Air Vice Marshal Aamir Hayat as the acting CEO of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) until it is appointed as its permanent CEO.
The notification was issued on the recommendation of the PIA board of directors.
Earlier, Khurram Mushtaq was serving as the acting CEO of PIA. He has now been appointed as the airline’s Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Meanwhile, Inamullah Qureshi has taken over as the Chief of Training and Development. It is worth mentioning that Inamullah Qureshi has also held the responsibilities as the acting COO earlier.
