Armed men snatch bike from Rawalpindi’s Bahria Town phase 8

RAWALPINDI: In a brazen incident, two armed men snatched a bike at gunpoint from two teenagers in Safari Homes, Sector F, Phase 8 of Bahria Town, Rawalpindi.

According to the CCTV footage, the incident occurred when the two boys were riding their bike in the neighborhood when armed men, approached them pointing guns at their foreheads and demanding that they hand over the bike. The boys, realizing the gravity of the situation, promptly complied to avoid harm.

The police have been informed, and an investigation is underway. However, no further details about the perpetrators or their whereabouts have been released.

This daring crime has sent shockwaves through the community, highlighting concerns about safety and security in the area.

This incident raises questions about the effectiveness of security measures in Bahria Town, an upscale residential community. Residents are calling for increased police patrols and surveillance to prevent such incidents in the future.

In another incident, armed men carried out a robbery in Islamabad’s Bari Imam area, making off with Rs. 630,000 from a mobile shop.

The four robbers, armed with modern weapons, rode into the shop on two motorcycles and executed the heist with precision, leaving many concerned about the rising crime rate in the federal capital.

The entire incident was captured on the shop’s CCTV footage, which has now been released. Fortunately, the police have taken swift action, with the DIG Operations ordering the formation of special teams to track down those responsible.

A case has been registered at the Secretariat Police Station, and investigations are currently underway. Residents are advised to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the authorities.
