ASP Shehrbano Naqvi appointed PSO to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi

ISLAMABAD: ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi has been appointed PSO(personal staff officer) to federal interior minister Mohsin Naqvi, according to a notification issued by the Interior Ministry.

Shehrbano, a Grade 17 Police Officer, was assigned to ADOFC Islamabad.

They added that Mohammad Shah Rukh Khan, a member of Police Service Grade 17, has been posted as ADOFC Shabqadar and will work under the Home Minister as an assistant chief security officer.

ASP Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi has been praised as a hero for saving a woman in Lahore’s Ichra Bazaar from a furious mob after she was accused of “blasphemy” for donning an Arabic calligraphy-adorned dress.

Several people have praised ASP Shehrbano Naqvi for his courageous deeds. Her professionalism and unselfish dedication were praised by General Syed Asim Munir. The Quaid-e-Azam Police Medal, Pakistan’s highest gallantry honor for law enforcement, has been recommended for her by the Punjab Police.
