Ban imposed on new recruitments in National Assembly; Details inside

Islamabad: Taking an important step, Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has banned new recruitments in the National Assembly, here on Tuesday.

As per the details, the decision came as part of the ongoing clean-up operation within the National Assembly Secretariat aimed at removing irregularities.

The speaker’s office announced the cancellation of test interviews for several positions, including new assistant directors, that were scheduled for this month.

This suspension of recruitment activities will remain in effect until a thorough investigation into previous illegal recruitments and promotions is completed.

Sources in the National Assembly Secretariat confirmed that no new recruitment will be made during this period.
