RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Monday declared the protest call final after meeting party founder Imran Khan at Adiala Jail.
Barrister Gauhar met Imran Khan at Adiala Jail along with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government spokesperson Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif for an hour-and-a-half at the jail to discuss the protest call in Islamabad.
Later, speaking informally to a journalist while travelling in his car, Barrister Gohar said that this is a final call. It will not be stopped. ”
The journalist asked about the talks [with the government], to which he said that we will tell you about it soon. Yes, they are going on.”
PTI workers from across the country started their journey towards D-Chowk in the capital Islamabad on November 24 in response to the protest call given by Imran Khan. A PTI convoy led by Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Imran’s wife Bushra Bibi left Swabi for Islamabad and is reportedly on the outskirts of Islamabad.
