Brother kills sister over family dispute

DIJKOT: In a tragic incident, brother shots her sister dead due to a family misunderstandings which turned into a deadly fight. The incident occurred in the Lundianwala Police Station’s 642GB jurisdiction.

The body was seized by the police and taken to a hospital for medico-legal procedures. To apprehend the suspect, a search was initiated.

The suspect identified as Luqman and his younger sister the victim Tayyaba got into a fight over a trivial matter. The heated argument took deadly turn when Luqman shot his sister in a fit of rage, due to which she immediately passed away from her wounds.

After learning of the occurrence, police officers showed up, took the body away for an autopsy, and carried out raids to get the alleged murderer.

In another incident, a man killed his family for not allowing a love marriage with a girl in Sanghar area, one of the largest districts of Sindh.

The incident took place in Ali Jan Murree area where the suspect got angry and opened fire on the family, killing his mother, two sisters and a brother-in-law.

The accused fled the scene after killing them, police said, adding that raids were on to nab him. A rescue official said the bodies have been shifted to a hospital for further processing.

This incident is quite different from the usual love marriage incidents in Pakistan where the couple is killed by their family members.
