CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz unveils Ration Card Program

LAHORE: The provincial government of Punjab has formally launched a Rs40 billion ration card program, here on Tuesday.

As per the details, the Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has inaugurated the event in Lahore today.

Addressing a ceremony, she said that the long-standing dream of providing essential assistance to the laborers is being fulfilled.

She said that ration cards are being provided to 1.25 million deserving families. She added that registered workers will get a monthly assistance of Rs30,000 through these ration cards starting from June 1.

The Chief Minister said that laborers are the pride of the nation and are playing a key role in the country’s development.
