SHEIKHUPURA: Deputy Commissioner Sheikhupura tortured a Class IV employee for using the washroom as his position remained vacant during the time.

DC Sheikhupura Shahid Imran Marth publicly slapped, punched, and warned Class IV employee Zulfiqar of arrest for going to the washroom during duty.

The incident occurred after the Deputy Commissioner got angry due to the overcrowding at the Ramadan ration program counter.

Seeing the rush, the DC Marth scolded a young man without any verification, considering him a government employee. Later, he confirmed to the officer that he was not an employee.

Then DC Sheikhupura handed over another youth of a similar name to the police for negligence in work, even though he was not an employee, and was later released.

Meanwhile, when an employee named Zulfiqar returned from the washroom, the DC became furious and started beating him for his negligence in controlling the overcrowding.

Later, when it was confirmed that the employee had gone to the washroom. DC Sheikhupura ordered him to work again and left.
