KARACHI: Renowned Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik will attend a prestigious ceremony at the Governor House in Karachi today and deliver a thought-provoking lecture on the Quran, Hadith, and divine commandments.

This special event, hosted by Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori, will unite esteemed religious figures, scholars, and heads of religious institutions. The ceremony is scheduled to take place at 7 PM, with a digital stage being set up on the Governor House’s lawn to accommodate the distinguished guests.

To ensure public participation, large screens will be installed at the adjacent Polo Ground, allowing everyone to witness the event. Governor Tessori has personally overseen the arrangements, visiting the Polo Ground late at night to review the security measures.

Dr. Zakir Naik’s visit has already generated significant interest, following his meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in Islamabad yesterday.

Dr. Naik’s work has been widely recognized, earning him numerous awards, including the King Faisal International Prize for Service to Islam in 2015 and the Dubai International Holy Quran Award for Islamic Personality of the Year in 2013.
