The Election Commission has issued the final list of candidates for the 2024 general elections, comprising 44 seats in the National and Provincial Assemblies from Lahore. Following the decisions against the Election Tribunal’s rulings in the Lahore High Court, the lists were released. According to the finalized lists, there are 1,079 candidates competing for the 44 seats in Lahore’s National and Provincial Assemblies.

The breakdown reveals that Lahore’s National Assembly has 266 candidates vying for the 14 seats, while the Provincial Assembly sees 813 candidates contesting for the 30 seats. In the highly contested National Assembly constituency NA-120, there are 27 candidates, with the lowest being 18 candidates in NA-118.
For the Provincial Assembly, PP-161 has the highest number of candidates at 46 for a single seat, while PP-150 has the lowest with 13 candidates. The release of the final candidate lists sets the stage for a competitive electoral battle in Lahore, a significant political hub in Pakistan.
