Meanwhile, in the United Arab Emirates, Eid ul-Fitr is expected to commence on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. Ibrahim Al Jarwan, Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Emirates Astronomy Society, has indicated that the Shawwal moon sighting is projected for April 9, indicating a 30-day Ramadan duration for the region.
