Election commitment: Solangi affirms General Elections on February 8

ISLAMABAD: In a resolute statement, Caretaker Federal Minister for Information, Broadcasting, and Parliamentary Affairs, Murtaza Solangi, emphatically declared on Monday that the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and both federal and provincial governments are steadfast in their commitment to conduct general elections on February 8.

Taking to his social media accounts, Solangi conveyed, “The Election Commission of Pakistan is committed to holding elections on Thursday, February 8, and so are the federal and provincial governments.” Assuring the public, he mentioned that the governments would meet all administrative, financial, and security requirements outlined by the ECP for the smooth conduct of the elections.
