FBR sets new customs values for low-end suitcases from China

ISLAMABAD: The Directorate General of Customs Valuation Karachi has introduced new customs values for the import of low-end and unbranded suitcases from China, aiming to ensure accurate assessment of duties and taxes.

The new values will apply to soft and hard types of suitcases. By revising these values, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) will put in place more strict enforcement for customs operations.

The valuation is aimed at improving the efficiency of the import process and will render a greater degree of fairness and transparency to the import process.
