Field Marshal Asim Munir meets Saima Saleem, acknowledges her efforts in UN mission

RAWALPINDI:  Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with Saima Saleem, a member of the Pakistani mission to the United Nations, and appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to highlight its position on important global and regional issues.

According to the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), Field Marshal Asim Munir said that Saima Saleem is a shining example of determination and courage for special individuals.

She is a shining star for the nation, and she holds a prominent position in international diplomacy despite being visually impaired.

Field Marshal Asim Munir stated that the Pakistan Army is committed to supporting and empowering individuals with special needs.

According to the ISPR, Saima Saleem gave a briefing on her work at the United Nations and the important issues and challenges facing Pakistan.

Saima Saleem also shared her literary works with the Field Marshal.

The Field Marshal appreciated Pakistan’s efforts to highlight Pakistan’s position on important global and regional issues. The Field Marshal praised Saima Saleem for highlighting the issue of Indian state-sponsored terrorism in the region.
