Fire breaks out in Lahore’s Saddar bazaar following cylinder blast

LAHORE: A massive cylinder explosion took place today in a shop located in the Chaman Ice Cream area near Saddar Bazaar in Lahore, causing a fire in the surrounding area. According to Rescue 1122, the explosion took place inside the shop, which caused a fire that has been brought under control.

Emergency response teams including fire engines and rescue vehicles reached the spot after the incident. Firefighters have succeeded in dousing the fire and are working to bring the situation under complete control. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported at this stage.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the explosion, and an official statement is expected soon. Rescue 1122 has praised the prompt response for saving the surrounding area from further damage.

Local residents have expressed concern over the incident, which has caused widespread panic, however, emergency services are on the scene to monitor the situation and provide necessary assistance.
