Five terrorists arrested during IBO in Pishin District: ISPR

PISHIN: Security forces apprehended four terrorists in a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) in District Pishin on October 18, 2024, the military’s media wing said in a press statement.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), security forces conducted an operation on the reported presence of Khwarij, resulting in five arrests.

During the IBO, a large quantity of weapons, ammunition, and explosives including three Suicide Vests were seized.

The arrested Khwarij were involved in multiple terrorist attacks and were planning to target security forces as well as innocent civilians, it added.

In another intelligence-based operation in District Zhob on October 17, security forces eliminated two khwarij, the statement read.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered in large quantity during the sanitisation of the area, the ISPR said.
