Five terrorists neutralized in Zhob: ISPR

ZHOB: Security forces successfully foiled an infiltration bid by terrorists along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in Sambaza area of ​​Zhob district last night, killing five terrorists.

According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a group of terrorists attempted to infiltrate from across the border on the intervening night of January 18-19. The security forces foiled the attempt in Sambaza area of ​​Zhob.

According to the ISPR, five terrorists were killed in an effective operation by the security forces. Pakistan has repeatedly urged the interim Afghan government to ensure effective border management along its borders.

The military spokesman said that it is hoped that the Afghan government will fulfill its responsibilities by preventing terrorists from using Afghan soil to carry out attacks against Pakistan.

The security forces are committed to securing their borders and eradicating the menace of terrorism from the country.
