NORTH WAZIRISTAN: At least 7 Khawarij of Indian backed proxy killed in an operation in the North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Thursday, according to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR).
On the intervening night of May 28-29, the Indian-sponsored Kharijites attempted to attack a security forces check post in the general area of the Shawal district of North Waziristan.
The attempt was effectively foiled by their troops, and the ensuing gunfight resulted in the killing of six Indian-sponsored Kharijites, the military media wing said.
However, during the intense exchange of fire, Lieutenant Daniyal Ismail (Age: 24 years, resident of District Mardan), a brave young officer who was leading his troops from the front, fought bravely and embraced martyrdom along with three of his men.
The other three soldiers include Naib Subedar Kashif Raza (Age: 42 years, resident of District Chakwal), Lance Naik Fayaqat Ali (Age: 35 years, resident of District Haripur), and Sepoy Muhammad Hameed (Age: 26 years, resident of District Abbottabad).
Clean-up operations are being carried out to eliminate any Indian-sponsored foreigner found in the area as Pakistan’s security forces are determined to eradicate the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country and such sacrifices by our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
