Imran Khan appoints Omar Ayub as PTI chairman

ISLAMABAD: In another hit-back for Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), party founder Imran Khan, who has currently incarcerated for a year now in Adiala Jail, has sacked party chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, informed sources told Daily Ausaf.

Party sources said that the former premier has charged Omar Ayub, Opposition Leader in the National Assembly, with the party chairmanship role.

Ayub had earlier resigned as the party’s Secretary-General due to his new role as opposition leader in the National Assembly.
