RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder and Patron-in-Chief Imran Khan has postponed the protest movement for two weeks due to the current global scenario.

Pakistan should unite at this time, the former Prime Minister has said while meeting his sister Noreen Niazi and Uzma Khan in Adiala Jail.

She said that the PTI founder was aware of the global situation, and the PTI founder has said that Pakistan should unite at this time.

Imran Khan’s sister Uzma Khan said that the whole world knows what the PTI founder’s stance is on Israel.

The PTI founder criticized the newly unveiled federal budget and the government’s economic policies.

He called it “an elite capture budget” that exacerbates economic inequality and places more responsibilities on ordinary citizens. He said, “The public has once again been burdened by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s fourth budget.”

Citing the alarming figure that “about 4.3 million educated Pakistanis have already left the country in search of better opportunities abroad,” he further cautioned that the new budget will worsen poverty throughout the nation.

Speaking about provincial issues, he pointed out that only after careful examination and consultation will the recently presented budget in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa be approved.
